Scott Porter
Scott Porter is a brand experience expert and serial entrepreneur. Currently, you’ll find him doing one of two things: consulting or speaking on how to humanize your brand experience while eating tacos or delivering deep-fried happiness to churro lovers everywhere.
Scott is the founder and owner-operator of the premiere gourmet churro experience company—San Diablo Artisan Churros. For nearly 7 years, San Diablo has been providing award-winning fresh-filled mini churros at over 6,000 events. San Diablo has now entered the e-commerce world with the wildly successful at-home churro-making kit—the Churro Fiesta in a Box.
Scott has been the executive director of two nursing homes and a home health agency. Additionally, Scott co-founded multiple ventures including Surf Air—the first all-you-can-fly membership airline. Scott also co-founded the game of Reverse Charades and an international non-profit, Singular Humanitarian. He has been a management consultant with Gartner, InsideOut Development and General Assembly.
Scott holds a B.A. in Public Relations and an M.B.A. in Marketing and Entrepreneurship both from Brigham Young University as well as an M.A. in Spanish from California State University-Sacramento. Scott has lived and worked in Canada, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Peru and Mexico.
Scott currently lives in Sandy, Utah and goes crazy over his nine siblings and is a self-proclaimed taco whisperer.
